Associate Principal Software Engineer – Software Engineering

Alex is a Software Engineer at LabGenius, working to automate scientists' workflows whilst capturing the data they generate.

Before LabGenius Alex graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Biochemistry where he developed a strong interest in bioinformatics. Alex went on to work in R&D for the pharmaceutical and consumer product industries as a Software Engineer and Data Scientist. As an example, Alex built machine learning models to predict the severity of disease in patients using data from wearable sensors.

Outside of LabGenius Alex enjoys getting outdoors usually for mountain biking or hiking.
